CVS Charitable Trust, Inc. donates $15,000 to Beginning with Books Storymobiles.

The CVS Charitable Trust, Inc. is a private foundation managed by CVS Corporation, which operates more than 4,100 CVS/pharmacy stores in 32 states. The Trust's mission is to provide funding for health care, education and community involvement initiatives in communities where CVS stores are located. Storymobiles visit early childhood centers and public housing communities with story times and quality children’s books, books on parenting and early childcare and education. The staff’s intense individual attention and interaction with the children encourage them to love reading and books.

The Storymobile service supports research which shows that the single most important activity for building the understandings and skills essential for reading success appears to be reading aloud to children.
